So Imagine

Love & Light

Love & Light

So imagine now that we’re in the projection room and we’re going to watch the film of your life, the film from conception until now.  It will take approximately 5 minutes to watch this film.  The curtains are beginning to open on the screen and the one, that part of you that controls things, it begins to flip on the switch of the camera and your film begins to roll from conception to now.  Start your films.  Review your life as it happened from conception or birth to now.  Start your films please.  Do that now and let them roll.

Now being in now, we’re going to run the movie backwards.  All the characters, all the internal representations of this film is going to run backwards.  All the characters will be speaking backwards.  All the sounds will be backwards, all the characters will be walking backwards.  You will place Mickey Mouse ears on each one of them and a ballerina skirt on each one of them.  Also coupled with this you will put an elephant’s trunk on the faces of every character in this film.  Are you ready?  Start the movie from now, run it backwards to birth and conception.  Do it now.   Coming to a close of your movie, bringing it to the very beginning of your time.  Now imagine in the editing room as we’re reviewing your film there’s a very large white paint brush that is filled endlessly with white-out.  I’m going to ask you to run your film, because I think we can make a better one.  What do you think?  We’re going to run your film and we’re going to white out all the frames of the film, preserving all the positive learnings from the entire span of time.  Are you ready to change things?  Begin now.  Turn the film on.  White paint brush on the film and start whiting out every single frame.  Fast forwarding to now.  Do that now.

Coming up on now.  Frames whited out.  Reach now in the next five seconds.  Good.  With the same white out, same brush, rewind the film, making sure all of the frames are whited out.  Begin to rewind the film, whiting out and putting another coat on all the frames of the past.  Rewind it now at high speed.  Do that now until it’s completely white.

So as you stand at the beginning of the possibility to reimagine the characters, the pictures, sounds and feelings, creating a new sound track, creating new characters in bright, vivid color, in the color of your circle, in the color of your circle of excellence and oneness.  We are going to place the qualities of that circle of oneness and we’re going to create new characters of your past where all of the characters are behaving and acting out of their circle of oneness with the heart, the compassion, the connection and the love of the essence of who they have eternally been.  All characters will be performing out of their circle of oneness.  And your new film will take on the color of your circle of oneness.  Create this new film in bright vivid color with every character acting out of their highest connection to whatever is divine in life.  When you’re ready on the count of three you will begin your new film based in the color and the qualities of your circle of oneness.  One, two, and three.  Begin reimagining your life now.   Now rewind your film at high speed back to the beginning.  Do it now.  On the count of 5 we’ll be at the beginning again.  One, two, three, four and five.  Back at the beginning.

Now we’re going to run your film through again.  This time we’re adding Steven Spielberg special effects, the highest quality of special effects.  Thx sound.  Make it three dimentional.  Make wind blowing.  Make symphonies playing.  You are just going to enhance these pictures so vividly, so powerfully with so much emotion into every single aspect of this film.  When you are ready, run the film through again and put in the most amazing colors in the color of your circle of oneness and each character acting out of the script of following their circle of oneness.  Run the film again please.  Enhance every frame.  More powerful.  More loving.  More kind.

Now that we’ve created new internal representations of your past, let’s bring this process to a gentle close and begin coming back into the room.

Now why and how does this process actually work?  The only way you know that you’re you is by the pictures, sounds and feelings in your head.  That’s it!  You’ve got eye patterns that retrieve your memories and go, ‘remember – this is who you are.’  What if your eye patterns retrieve memories where all you saw was your circle of oneness flowing through every single memory of your past?  If you imagine vividly enough your past your subconscious mind and nervous system does not know the difference between what actually happened and what you reimagined.  Get that.  It is so important.  If you consistently go to sleep at night or think during the day vivid imagination about a circumstance that happened in the past and you reimagine it to the place to where you feel it to be real – and the key word is feel it – with more powerful sensory representations, different pictures, different sounds, different feelings, what will happen is that will become your reality.  You will become the artist or the architect of your past as well as your future because your past influences and directs your future.  And you can build it.  We can literally collapse time and make everything right now in this thought – what is my outcome.  And the really wonderful aspect of what I just said is that you already do it every moment of every day.  The difference is you’ve been imagining events in the future based upon the experiences of your past and therefore your past keeps recreating itself in front of you.  What if you spend your time on the obsession of the story of how it’s been and yet the way it’s been has been the exact circumstances to evolve you and what if you spend your life blaming, regretting and condemning the teachers who have shown up to show you the way?  What if it all happened to show you a way?  Be the love you are.  Keep in the story of your outcome.  Create different internal representations by imagining vividly enough to where you feel it.  Different pictures, different sounds, different dialogs, different feelings.

A Story from Islam (Part Two)

Look Within

Look Within

So there were about 150 people in the room and I thought, ‘I can do this.  I’m real transformed, I’ve done all this work, I’ve got it together.’  So I go up there and I’m sitting on the stool and he asked me just one question, ‘Why are you here?’  I said something like, ‘I’m here to transform myself and gain all the tools I require to heal every person I meet and transform the planet.’

A lot of people speak like that, right?  So a box of Kleenex and an hour and a half later I got to why I was there.  Have you ever sat witnessing a person’s resistence?  It can be frustrating.  It’s like, ‘Would you just get to it.’  I’m sitting up there and at one point I said, ‘I’m not safe.  I’m not doing this.’  I was speaking that kind of dysfunctional language then.  I was upset.  I had yet to get to what it was and I could feel people’s thought forms being projected toward me from the audience.  I stopped everything and said, ‘If you think I’m going to undress and be naked in front of these people who have judgment, you are nuts.  This space is not safe.’  So what he did was he had everybody stop and repeat silently within themselves, ‘I stand in my light for your victory, Gary.’  And he did that and within ten minutes I got to it.  So do the thought forms of the room affect the person speaking?  Absolutely.

What I finally got to, and this is something we’ll be getting to today, from this grandiose, non-personalized conversation I was having about my outcome for being there I got to, I was there to receive the divine love of my mother and my father.  That’s a really big distance from healing the planet.  When I spoke it, every cell in body resonated because in reality that is why I was there.  I was feeling under-loved and under-acknowledged by my parents.  In reality we all have a similar core wound.  So this is what it means to be a committed listening.  When someone is speaking and they’re having a challenge, rather than judge use consciousness in a creative way that heals and by your thoughts think your highest thought for them – and it is a complete gift to yourself.

Presuppositions of our higher consciousness – I’m going to read these off and just plow right through them.  As I read these presuppositions they are other than the truth.  It is a choice of perception.  Did you know that the whole theory of evolution is a complete assumption with no empirical data to back it up?  So these are assumptions.  They are perceptions.  They are choice of seeing.

1.  Our higher consciousness matures in wisdom through our life experience.

2.  Our higher consciousness is directly accessible depending upon the focus of our attention.

3.  Our higher consciousness has access to information beyond the conscious mind or the subconscious mind.

Presuppositions of our conscious mind

1.  Our conscious mind has the power of choice.

2.  Our conscious mind has conditioned free will to direct or be directed.

3.  Our conscious mind can choose unconsciousness or consciousness.  How many of you know that you can just go right to sleep – you can choose to just blank out.

4.  Our conscious mind can suppress or express from the subconscious.

Presuppositions of our subconscious mind

Our subconscious mind has 1 with 8 million miles of half-inch zeros behind it of possibility.  We use about 10% of our mental capacity.  The other 90% lies in the subconscious.  When we learn how to direct it we become very much more potentialized.  I likened the human condition to a chariot.  The horses are the horses of our mind; the chariot is our body.  The charioteer is our spirit and the reins that direct it is our imagination and our language.  When we pick those up we can direct our lives.  Some of our horses are wandering perilously toward a cliff.  Some of them are just hanging out in a field and chomping away and refuse to move.  And some are just wandering aimlessly.  It’s about directing it.

1.  Our subconscious mind stores memories temporally and atemporally.

2.  Our subconscious mind takes language literally.

3.  Our subconscious mind plays back what it receives like a computer.  So what you are constantly languaging in your internal dialog and your external speech, your subconscious mind is taking it literally and will feed it back like a computer.

4.  Our subconscious mind responds to feelings.

5.  Our subconscious mind responds to repetition very much like a record.  We run this groove and whatever we are habitually thinking that is the reality we will live in.

6.  Our subconscious mind runs the body through the autonomic nervous system.

7.  The subconscious mind is a highly moral being and it prompts us to be a highly moral being.  It is the part of us that says, ‘Please don’t do that.’

8.  Our subconscious mind attracts experiences to us according to our beliefs.

I was asked to teach something about how people get that they make up their own reality.  I talked for a couple of hours about filters and how we make up our own reality and the meaning we give something creates our heaven or our hell.  So I hired a strapping stud and this beautiful woman to come in and strip to Aretha Franklin.  After 3 hours of lecture I told the class, ‘I’m going to provide you an experience.  Take notes and write down how you’re filtering and giving meaning to this experience so that you see the reality you’re giving it actually creates your own reality and many other people will get a different sense and a different interpretation and therefore will create a whole different response. You’ll really get it.’  So the strippers came in and took off their clothes down to a g-string and they left.  Some people thought it was the most amazing experience.  Other people blew out of the training saying, ‘This is the most unprofessional – I can’t believe I was subjected to this.’  The meaning you give something is the heaven or the hell that you make up.  It’s all made up.

More to come tomorrow.

Watch and be alert to today!

Language is Powerful

Language is Powerful

Watch and be alert to today, what you are saying, and are you speaking in outcome.  I get all teary when I think of this because it’s like, it’s such a big piece.  It seems like such a little thing, doesn’t it?  It is a big thing.  It’s a really big thing.

“Language of exaggeration.”  In the language of exaggeration we produce vagueness by omitting personal and specific information.  By using exaggeration, we speak nonpersonally, unrealistically, as an avoidance of our feelings.  Emotions are the key ingredient to having our word manifest.  Remember, the subconscious mind takes your language literally.

Now, I’m going to repeat what I said last night, and this is really important, because emotions are key.  In our culture we have 750,000 words to use that literally cut at the root of us feeling and speaking first person personal in the now.

Has anyone ever read any writings by Chief Seattle?  Read some things that he’s written.  This man speaks from the heart and his words are so powerful you get goose bumps all over your body reading what he wrote, because as he spoke, his heart was completely connected to his language, and he will bring tears to your eyes reading what he wrote.  He spoke very little, but when he spoke it was profound.

When I was very young, I was married to this really wonderful woman, and I remember I met her from this old Victorian house in Berkeley.  We were both following the master that we were both initiated by.  When she walked in the door, I thought she was

thirteen, she was four years older than I was.  She had died purple gloves and a little beaded dress and a little beaded jacket.  She was all like in antique vintage clothes, and I thought “I love this woman.”  She rarely spoke, but when she opened her mouth, it was profound what would come out of it.  I just thought, “I love this person.” As soon as I walked into her bedroom, she had this wall of little vials that were filled with perfectly preserved dandelion flowers, just dandelion flowers.  And I thought “I love this woman.”  She was one of the most amazing people I had yet to know.  I had the great good fortune to be godfather to her little girl.  And we’re very close to this day. So when we speak with specifics connected to our heart, our words have power.  What makes a great speaker?  What makes your word have power is your heart connected to it.  What makes a lousy speaker is that you are so shielded by your fear of someone seeing what you are, choosing no one to see because you have no tolerance for it in your own self, that you speak in shallow terminology, vague terminology, and people never get who you are.  They don’t get who you are because you are afraid to have people see who you are because you can barely stand to look at who you are yourself.

So wake up.  Begin to start using your language that will give you intense power and know that there is nothing about you that is not lovable.

One of the most profound gifts that you can give yourself is your own self-acceptance and your own self-compassion, and your language will begin to reflect this as your thinking begins to.  Your language is the back door to correct the thinking.  It is the back door.

In the language of exaggeration, we produce vagueness by omitting personal specific information.  By using exaggeration, we speak nonpersonally, unrealistically as an avoidance of our feelings.  Emotions are the key to having our word manifest.  The subconscious takes your language literally.

Examples of exaggeration:  “Everyone.”  Who specifically?  Is what you’re saying including all people on the planet, whoever lived throughout time?  This is what “everyone” means.

”Everything.”  What specifically?  Is what you’re saying including all things which ever existed physically and nonphysical throughout time?  “Always.”  Is what you’re saying including all time from the beginning of time into infinity forever?
