Time & The Human Mind

Time & The Human Mind

I have been asked to re-post some great tools for changing your life!

Do you desire to be more than what you’ve been?  Do you know you are capable of more?  Do you know what path you would need to take to be more of what you want of what you are desirous to be?

What is NLP?  NLP is the modeling of excellence.  It is the discovery and duplication of patterns of excellence of successful people for the purpose of enhancing lives by teaching these patterns and strategies of excellence.

NLP came into existence during the early 1970’s out of the curiosity of John Grinder and Richard Bandler.  These men began a modeling project of three very famous therapists.  They chose to model these therapists because all three were creating tremendous changes in the human condition outside the Freudian and Jungian Models and each therapist used totally different styles of therapy.

They are Virginia Satire, who developed the family form of therapy, Milton Erickson, who developed the greatest form of hypnosis and the know-how of working with the unconscious mind known today as Ericksonian Hypnosis, and Fritz Pearls, who discovered Gestalt Therapy.  All three had an extremely different approach to the style of the therapy they did and yet, they were all very successful.

John Grinder and Richard Bandler chose to observe these therapists because of their successes.  The interesting observation was that they had success in what they did and how they did therapy without an absolute understanding of the processes they were using.  In fact, Milton Erickson wrote a letter to John Grinder and Richard Bandler and thanked them for explaining to him the processes he used and how he has such success.

These therapists were exquisitely good at intuiting and guiding client’s problems to resolution. They had what is called unconscious competency.  Have you ever had unconscious competency in something?  Unconscious competency means you are “just” good at what ever it is you know how to do without having to put much thought to it.  Perhaps it’s a sport, math, or driving a car that comes natural to you.  It is doing something with little or no effort.

NLP is applicable in sports, business, therapy, learning, educational fields, etc.  It’s broad applications cross the context of all of the human experience.  Why is this?  It is literally the owner’s manual for the human mind.  If you are going to tune up a car, program a VCR, put one of those difficult pieces of furniture together, you would be required to have some directional manual, would you not?  Have you ever attempted to do one of these activities and experience frustration?

Here we are in the most complex organism on this planet called the human body.  The human body contains more neurological possibilities then every grain of sand on every beach on this planet.  No one has ever come along and said, “Would you like to know how to use it?”  How did you create your unique beliefs, attitudes, and perspectives?  How did you encode your memory to instantly retrieve them?  How did you design the strategies you use to either motivate or sabotage?  How did you do it? If you had an owner’s manual that could show you how, could you fix it, could you adjust it?  You could!

Now every great thinker has consistently said that there’s only one thing to do here and that is to know ‘you.  In all of our relationships, what we are really involved with is a deep intrinsic relationship with ourselves, in the context of another person.

Have you ever been in a relationship with anyone?  Have you ever thought about what makes a relationship work?  It IS your relationship with you.  It IS your sense of identity, your boundaries, your negotiation skills, your ability to love rather than be afraid, and your ability to express rather than harbor and resent. Your ability to be in relationship with others is your key to financial, spiritual, emotional, and mental well-being.  Your ability to know yourself will assist you in every context of life.

In the past, I lived in a lot of procrastination.  When I say “the past”, I mean anything even a nano-second in the past.  What I’ve learned from a whole securitous pipe of experiences is that the place of most change is when you’re really terrified, but you take the leap anyway, you just step out into the unknown.  Have you ever done an action over and over and expect a different outcome then the time before?  Did you know that the definition of insanity is: doing the same thing consistently and expecting a different outcome, a different result?

One of my most favorite movies is “The Last Crusade”, where the main character is searching for the Holy Grail out of the love for his father.  He comes to this place after passing through this tunnel of slicing swords and spiders and he arrived to a precipice where he couldn’t even see the bottom.  He closed his eyes and remembered a legend that taught him that when he chooses to step out in pure faith, he’d be supported.  So he stepped out into thin air.  As he did, a path appeared before him.  He made the choice to move through his fear by taking that step, that leap of faith, right through the fear.

Gary De Rodriguez

A story about Gary

The emotionally shattered young woman who was literally carried into Gary De Rodriguez’ office by friends did not want to live.  Weeks before, she and her fiancé were kayaking in a glacial cave in Alaska when an ice stalactite broke loose from the cave ceiling and struck the man on the head, killing him.

”When Juno died,” recalls Sue Harley, now of Denver, Colorado, “all my dreams and hopes, my whole future, died with him.”

De Rodriguez, founder of the Santa Fe, NM based Life Design International Training Center and creator of the Life Design Trainings, had a reputation for helping people use the untapped power of their mind to heal their body and spirit.  For Harley, De Rodriguez was her last chance to live.

”I immediately knew I could trust him when I told him the story of Juno’s death, and he cried right along with me,” Harley said.  “Then he helped me find my way back from total despair through a timeline process by showing me my future.”  Through this gentle, powerful method of harnessing and directing the power of the mind, Harley said, she began to see more and more exciting reasons to keep on living.  In the new future she was mentally creating, she saw an attractive man with an accent; children; a new home.  By imagining these mental pictures, and feeling the joyful emotions that accompanied them, Harley began to embrace her future life with enthusiasm.

Six months after completing her work with De Rodriguez, Harley said she met a cute man from Australia – and the future she designed for herself became real.

As astounding as Harley’s physical and spiritual recovery was, De Rodriguez says each of us holds the key for such dramatic change in our minds.

“We choose our heaven or our hell inside of our own neurology,” De Rodriguez explains.  “The pictures we’re mentally contemplating, the words we’re speaking in our internal dialogue, and the emotions we’re producing all become our reality and determine any limits to our success.”

De Rodriguez speaks from experience.  He traveled a winding and uphill spiritual path to overcome the hurts of his past – child abuse, juvenile drug addiction, paralyzing depression, the agony of seeing friends waste away from AIDS.  Fifteen years meditating three hours a day in an ashram in India didn’t heal the hurt or catapult him into spiritual bliss. Studying and teaching positive disciplines like “A Course In Miracles” helped, but didn’t fix everything.  It wasn’t until De Rodriguez discovered the mental management tools of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) that he was able to completely release the old pains and refocus his life.

”Realize that the brain is a computer,” De Rodriguez explains, “and NLP is very much the owner’s manual for the human body.  It teaches us how we created our beliefs, our values, our individual perceptions and the foundation of our personality.”  Through NLP technologies, says De Rodriguez, we can see how some aspects of our personalities cut to the very root of our ability to be successful. When we understand how we created those flawed thinking patterns, we can learn how to redirect them.

Deeply committed to helping to raise world consciousness, De Rodriguez built a complete spiritual element on top of basic NLP to create Life Design Trainings – his system of using the mind-body connection to achieve excellence in every aspect of life.  His unique approach is being embraced by people from all walks of life, including professionals seeking to establish a more balanced and successful career path.

Los Angeles Attorney Sylvia Esquivel said De Rodriguez helped her gain a better understanding of how differently each person sees the world based on their past experiences.

”Once you understand this of yourself,” she says, “you can understand that other people have their own perspectives which are not right or wrong, but which are or may be different.  Becoming aware of this alone is priceless — and it helps in releasing one’s point of view of ‘I’m right, he is wrong’ in personal, business or other types of interactions.”

For a successful San Diego Realtor who participated in De Rodriguez’ 12-day Life Design Training Practitioner certification program, the biggest benefit was a dramatic shift in his ability to solve problems.

”If I got stuck on something, I had lots of different options I didn’t know about before,” he said.  As a result, the Realtor says, things that previously would bother him no longer have power, and he’s more confident, happier and able to build instant rapport with prospective clients.

”Where most training programs fail is they never teach the individual how to manage their own internal state,” says Rodriguez.  “They put on blanket Band-Aids – ‘this technique is for diversity, and this technique is for communicating.’ But that training is all about your external behavior – and what’s happening internally is what’s driving the external behavior.

”What they’re doing is putting a Band-Aid over the already established ACT.  They’re trying to shift behavior at the behavioral level, and you can NEVER shift behavior at the behavioral level.  You must use the power of the mind to permanently shift behaviors.”

Psychotherapist Adam Colson interacts daily with homeless and destitute people.

“A huge challenge in my work is establishing rapport with down-on-their-luck individuals, and working with them to shift their mental outlook and create well-focused goals,” Colson says.  “I’ve studied many different forms of therapy, and Life Design Training techniques help people change their behaviors more quickly and effectively than anything else I’ve tried.”

“If people had just the basic mental tools,” said De Rodriguez, “they could start improving their lives immediately.  Where they get into the most pain is feeling like they don’t have choices.  I desire to teach people they have the resources and choices to choose a different road, and a magnificent future.”

Question:

Is there any way to use our eye-movements in order to store information better?

Gary:

Yes there is. What you would do is you would go up into individual recall and you would spell the word or the information, if it is a word, spell it forward-backward, forward-backward, about 7 times, then go down into kinesthetic and then feel what it feels like having it spelled right, than feel it, go back up and spell it again, feel it and then lock it into place in visual recall. That is one way to do it. It is a lot of work but it just depends on your commitment. But be sure to go down to kinesthetic to make sure how it feels like to spell it right. I do this with names sometimes.

Question:

What is the difference between meditating and go into self-hypnosis?

Gary:

They are both altered states, I think they are both synonymous, quite frankly. Meditation of course is the only used in a mantra-form and is more devotional in nature. At least the meditations that I have done. It depends on what type of meditation. I always was involved in Bhakti-Yoga, which is devotional kind of Yoga where you are in a mantra repeating the names of God out of love for God, rather then there are some meditations that are simply based on disciplining the mind. So it depends on what the meditational intend is. There is people who meditate and work with the dark side. There is lost of different ways to focus the mind. But I think that devotional meditation is probably the most rewarding. And Hypnosis is simply an altered state where the conscious mind is still. What you do with it after that is kind of up to you. The difference is the intent. Both still the mind but then what do you do once the mind is still. Do you pray for power or do you pray for God? I went out on vision quest with Marilyn and there was just me and this Indian guy out on the mountain, we were the last once out. Marilyn was leaving and we were out that long because we required greater purification. And I remember him before he went out he said “I am going to pray to the thunder beings, the lightning” and I said “for what?” he said “for power”. Well his prayers were strong. And the last night we were out a lightning storm came up and it was the worst Marilyn said she had ever seen in all the years she had been out in Colorado. Lightning was hitting the ground once every 10 feet. It was really, really bad. And I was out there, I was meditating, had my pipe and every now and again lightning would hit really close to me. She came out and got us, she got us early. She pulled us into the debriefing room and said:”OK, which one of you were praying for power? One of you is praying for power! I want to know who it was because one of you is praying to the lightning beings and is praying for power! You go and meditate!” So I was glad, it was not me!

So we go to the lots the next morning and he breaks down and he says he was praying for power. And Marilyn asks him: ‘why would you pray for power?’ What would power ever give you? What does that pre-suppose when someone desires power? They feel powerless and they are afraid and they feel less. Remember the presuppositions of language? That the presupposition of existence is that if something exists the opposite must be true. So when we look at people’s behavior and we see them acting in this way that you say, “oh my God, why do they do that?” You have to go to the presupposition of existence. There is some people show up and they assume a lot of power. They walk into that room and they wheel their psychic abilities in a way that is sometimes intimidating and not useful. The Master uses to say: Those who know never say and those who say don’t know.

But I will say that power is a seductive thing and a lot of people that go on the spiritual path get lost in the valley of power because they finally realize based upon – they will call them Siddhis and Rishis – some different minor psychic abilities that can begin to be developed, that they can have influence over other people and can make things happen that they couldn’t before. And as a consequence they begin to lust for power and it is only because they have lived in powerlessness. So the greatest experience of strength is just the flip-side of their deepest weakness. And if you choose to empower the illusion of power within them they grow stronger and if you choose to see the foundation of weakness under the quest for power they have no influence over you. Does that make sense? It is really really important that people learn how to work with those who are misusing power because there are a lot of people misusing power. I personally believe that there is a different type of energy flowing onto the world right now, like there is more available to us and you are able to wake up faster and use these abilities in a deeper degree without enough purification. And certain people are way off on the wrong track. Let’s cancel ‘wrong’. It is not the wrong track, it’s the track that is not going to lead to the ultimate outcome. So we just have to learn how to navigate our way through those particular hallucinations.

Question:

What is your take on the divisions between religions?

Gary:

I will ask you, what does your soul feel about that?

Answer:

I think that there is just one God.

Gary:

I agree. I think God just looks down on us and just says ‘Yes’! ‘yes’ and ‘yes’! Whatever metaphor you choose to encapsulate your culture that will define the unspeakable to your conscious mind and your ego, it’s a big ‘yes’, you go for it!

You want to make a connection between me and you?- great! You want to have physical body that you can worship? Great! You want to have a personality because that is how our egos are so separated that you cannot even conceive of me? So you have to conceive of me through a personality that you can identify with? Great! So it is Allah, it is Mohammed for some people; it is Christ for others. It is like, great. This power just says ‘yes’ to whatever it is that we choose to create as a metaphor to create a pathway and understand between the vast levels of separation of our ego to the unspeakable concept of God. And this power called God just says ‘yes’ to whatever it is.

A lot of people might be really offended by what I just said but I think for my worldview  that is pretty much true (…), otherwise whatever the thing called God is that would pick one religion and slaughter everybody else if you don’t believe it: I wouldn’t want to belong to that God! That would not be a God I would hang out with. So, since it is all made up anyway, I think I want to make up a better God. Don’t you think? Because, none of it makes any sense at all. I just doesn’t, there is absolutely no sense. Religion makes no sense. I completely respect every single religion’s traditions and metaphors and ceremonies because that is what evokes and awakens the devotion. But see, it is all about how we awaken the devotion in the human heart. And there is all the different systems to awaken the devotion, but people get lost in worshipping the systems, rather than the devotion which is the end product of the systems and I think that is where we get really really derailed or our cultures have gotten really derailed. They got lost in the fact of the system or the ceremony or the metaphor and they began worshipping that instead of the devotion that was supposed to be the end product of all the ceremony. They worshipped the map, they worshipped the idol and this is what Christ said: be aware of false prophets, do not idol worship. What have they done? They have turned this personality called Jesus into an idol. They have taken Allah and turned into an ideal. They have the cross they turned that into an idol; they are all idol worshippers.

Buddha everything, all of it. The Buddhist are a little bit different. But it is wild, they are doing the exact opposite of the teachings and they will go to the death they will create genocide over their ceremonies. And it is tragedy. Why do you think the ‘course in miracles’ was channeled and written? There was this little Jewish atheists woman who started getting this voice in her head, she thought she was absolutely insane; she was this PhD psychiatrist, went to her best friend in the same hospital and went” I am going insane”, his name was Bill Theford(?) and started explaining to him what was happening to her and he said: “write it!, just write down everything”. Two years later and two volumes that thick became the course in miracles and it was Christ saying ‘ I am so deeply disturbed by how my teachings have been so distorted I have come to clarify the meaning of what I meant to say through my teachings. He explains the crucifixion unlike anything you have ever heard before, he explains all the core events that happened that are the metaphors of the Christian faith worships and he explains it quite differently. I taught it for 8 years, it is powerful. I would highly recommend it, especially if the Christian faith appeals to you, I would read the course. It won’t make any sense at first, it is meant to unravel your mind and it does that, and you will read one paragraph and you will go ‘oh my God, oh my God…what does that mean’ and will think about it for weeks. It is written in a way to unravel the ego. It is very very powerful stuff.

Bill Theford (?) used to come and sit in the back of a course in miracles class I used to teach. He would sit in the back in silence, and I refused to teach it. What I would do is, I would open up one of the prayer and I would say ‘everyone within the room is equally Christ and knowledgeable, so everybody gets to read at least a paragraph from the book.’ And then everyone would pass the book around, everyone would read a paragraph and if anyone had a question I would do my best to answer it. That is how I taught it, Bill loved that. He really disliked Mary-Anne(?) He really did. He thought she was the worst thing that ever happened to ‘the course of miracles’. I cannot say that: He didn’t say that to me specifically but he was not really happy with the way it was being taught! Because it was coming through another mind. It was not an individual teaching being individually laid on individual minds to be able to interpret for themselves. Some person became a spokesperson and that was what he didn’t like. Do you know how he died? It was really beautiful; because I knew the person he was with when he died? He was a mentor of mine, he was a fabulous man. He was up in the mountains staying in a cabin with about two other people and all of the sudden he started dancing in the cabin. He just started singing ‘ I am so free, I am so free’ He just danced, he danced out of the cabin and out into the woods, jelling and screaming ‘ I am so free’ and dropped it.

He was in his sixties when he died, isn’t that beautiful? I am like” That’s how I am going to die!!” That is a powerful way to go and I am thinking: Why couldn’t all of us leave like that? Wouldn’t that be the greatest testimony to a life well lived? Because otherwise, we are going to be hanging out at our death-bed thinking about our kids that generally are just worrying about the dollars you are going to leave them and you will be hanging out like you are worrying about your puppy or your house and who is going to get the money and the inheritance and how they are going to fight over it….who cares? All the accumulation of all the things we think are valuable and all we really want to do is being in absolute ecstatic love and dance out of our bodies, leaving this place with complete surrender of the great unknown because we stepped into it so many times in the past. Wouldn’t’ t that be the greatest way to go? Just let’s get up and dance, and dance out of our bodies. I am modeling excellence. I want to dance out of my body.

Question:

Would you add something or modify the 10 commandments?

Gary:

Yes, I would modify the 10 commandments. I would say: be responsible for your creation, love what you have created, know you created it, forgive yourself and know at one level, that life is leading you beautifully in the direction of you becoming once again one with that ecstatic love that is animating all of life.

Comment:

Sometimes, I think if we didn’t have any religions and we just followed the 10 commandments it would be all we needed.

Gary:

I would say that religion serves an incredible purpose for people who are seeking for a structure in which to worship the unknown. Unfortunately, it becomes a weapon of separation. And so rather than creating unification it creates separation. I would say that there are people involved in religion that are doing wonderful work and it is not that they are not, they are and they are operating out of the best level they know at their particular state of evolution that is going to be the thing that is going to give them the greatest value. So if it existed there is nothing condemnable about it. It is serving some level of consciousness, and so who are we to say that ought not to exist. If it exists it is part of the plan. Whether I participate in it or not is another question. But if it exists it is a holly thing, I mean where would a souls incarnate to that really have to learn about war? Iraq and Palestine. Who are we to say that that ought no to exist. I don not know enough to know that. From my ego’s prospective I would like no human being to suffer. From my soul’s prospective how do I know that the greatest suffering won’t bring the greatest evolution of spirit? And why do I deny some of that? I don’t know enough to know that. So I can only say that if it exists than I believe that this great thing called life has a purpose for that existing and the purpose is to beautifully evolve whatever souls are participating and whatever it is in a way that most serves their learning and their waking up. And that is a big chunk and that doesn’t mean that you don’t do things to help ease suffering you do. But this is not a place where suffering will ever stop; I don’t believe that the earth or the physical realm is a place where suffering is neutralized. I think this is where we come to do this. I would like to think it was different. I just have never seen any evidence of it. So the best thing we can do is create little heavens within ourselves and do the greatest work that we can do around us and the people that are within the shadow of our influence.

Question:

What do you think about the ‘conversations with God’ book?

Gary:

I am unfamiliar with the book, I have people come up to me and say ‘ah conversations with God, you must have read that’ and I am like ‘ No, I don’t know I haven’t read it.’.

So, no, I am not familiar with his work.

Comment:

He just had a huge convention; there were a couple of thousand people and many many from Australia.

Gary:

Australia is very very hungry, I guess that is one of the reasons why I am going.

If I were to say if there was a purpose for life, it would be: To learn how to love, I mean divinely love, with no judgment, even beyond unconditional, just no judgment in the ultimate form of separation, our bodies and our egos. If we could learn how to stop judging and have love I think then we would know that there is no difference between here and there, between earth and a physical body and heaven. That is what I believe enlightenment is, is that when we walk in the ultimate form of separation a body and absolutely see no separation., then we are awake. And I think that that is totally possible.

Question:

Have you achieved that?

Gary:

Me? Oh no!

Not even close, but I know that that is it. And I get glimpses. When I look outside myself and I just see absolute perfection. It doesn’t happen often but it does happen. And I know as age and I grow that it is going to happen more often. And when we talk like this and when we are around like this, we even have a concept of this, this is what supports that to grow. One more question, because it feels like we are winding down.

Comment: (Heike)

It was very interesting regarding ‘conversations with God’ that (…) he uses all the common NLP-terms and phrases.

Gary:

Yes, I don’t know.

I know, Heike, I know that she went to a psychic channeler and the psychic channeler was doing all this NLP Timeline stuff on her. And said: ” oh, these were gifts that were channeled to me through ,what was the deity’s name?, Akakabaka? And it was done through me… And Heike, off course told me and said: ‘all this stuff was so NLP’ and I asked her: ‘what was the person’s name?’ she gave me his name and is said: ‘that was one of my students!’ and she calls her stuff ‘tools of the spirit’! And she took that from my work which was ‘tools for life’. It is like, she took all of my stuff and morphed it into an entity. That is why you have to be a little cautious when you are out there.

Question:

I want to ask you about those 4 questions: what is the outcome of the 4 questions.

Gary:

For me the outcome of those 4 questions which is Byron Katie’s which are: is it true? Can I know it is true?  What is it costing me and who am I without it?

It is basically forcing you to look at your model of the world, basically your hallucination. And then know that you cannot possibly know enough information to know that it is true. Look at what it is costing you, which is of course separation and not unification, if you are judging than you know that you are out of love. And who are you without it, without the judgment? You are absolute ecstatic love.

Question:

Costing me means what do I have to give up to have it?

Gary:

Or what are you experiencing as a consequence of your constant judgment? And that is a cost. And the cost is separation. Whenever we judge anything we judge anything we have to have fear. Because, in that fear in our judgment we will be judged against, because all what we are doing is: we are projecting what we would be or do in that person’s behavior. When we look at the person’s behavior we are like ‘ok, that person must be thinking that or that…’ how would we know that? We would only know that? We would only that by placing ourselves in that person’s position that we can say ‘ok, that would be what I would be feeling, so therefore that is what they are feeling.’ So, who is really the judgment of? It is not of them, it is of you. As a consequence all judgment is self-condemnation. It is true! It is just self-condemnations. You keep winding yourself deeper into this place where the condemnation of yourself becomes huge and really judgmental people are filled with self-hatred.

Question:

How does that play out with someone like me? Like, when I am in my car etc?

Gary:

You never know what motivates a person. If you run from the presupposition that there is always a positive intention behind every behavior the person may feel powerless and the only place they feel like they have power is behind a wheel. Women have always done this to me personally. Very aggressive drivers, they do like really rude things and I am like ‘bloody hell, why did you do that?’ and I am thinking to myself ‘they probably felt powerless with some male entity, person and this is where they can have power. Not that this is a big old generalization on my part, but it is a good hallucination and it makes me feel better.  There is lots of different ways you can look at why people do what they do. It depends on whether you are willing to operate here or here.

The truth of all is either you are going to choose to be peaceful or you are going to make yourself right.

I have this thought that if we judge something we must have the opportunity to experience it to neutralize what we put into action. So if you judge something, my idea is, and I really think it is true that we get to experience it. I mean if you judge it and condemn it, than you have to experience it and all that you are saying is: God you screwed up and according to my model of the world you are not right here. And so, if you are condemning God and its; expression in that particular form then you are condemning the creation. And if you are judging anything then you are separate from the creation and in order for you to be whole you must experience the allowance of it, because that is God being made manifest in simply another manifestation. How can you become unified with God if you cannot be unified with all that has been created? And this is why judgment separates us and creates the requirement for us to experience it so that we can unify and love all that was God is. Judge nothing. Allow everything, and then you unify with everything and then you will be able to dance out of your body. Do you think that your judgment and your condemnations are going to leave you at the time of death? They do not. Consciousness is consciousness and just because your body ages it does not mean that your anger dwindles. One day Robert and I saw this car, and there was this little old lady, she has to be 3 feet tall, and we are like 3 or 4 cars behind her. And suddenly we hear all that screaming and we are looking at her and she is cursing and jelling and her arms are flying out of the sides of her car and she is holding on to her horn because the guy in front of her, who has a red light, isn’t moving. We drive by and she is like out of control in her car. She has to be 85. Filled with rage. This lady, rapped into rage at her age over traffic. What possibilities does she have to really dance out of her body and have a successful life? She doesn’t, does she? It doesn’t diminish with age; it diminishes with choice to change, that is it what it diminishes from. And I will tell you, now is the only moment of power we have to become different, otherwise it will be next week, it will be next month it will be next year, and before you know you will be 90 years old lying in our death-bed in rage that we didn’t do what we knew we could do and didn’t take the time and the effort to be tenacious enough with our consciousness to shift from the temple of what we judge so harshly and condemn so harshly about the world to the temple of ‘I have got complete allowance for the perfection of how each circumstances evolving each soul that is here. And if we don’t shift in the moment and if we don’t practice shifting, we will never condition well enough to be able to do it naturally at the time of death. Because when we die it will be like a movie running through our minds, the picture sounds and feelings of everything we have been attached to will flow before us just like a movie; it is automatic and whatever we are most attached to the last frame will determine our next incarnation. Choose wisely! Choose very, very wisely!

Language is Powerful Choose Wisely

Language is Powerful Choose Wisely

Language directs our thinking.  Our mental focus determines our success or our failure.

Have you ever attempted to shift how you think by thinking differently?  Generally this is a lesson in futility.  The easiest method of changing how we think is by changing our language.

If you constantly envision your success and abundance and language your communication to be in alignment with those aspirations, you will direct your subconscious mind toward that goal.  The same is true of your negative thoughts.  If you are constantly expecting the worst, talking about your fears, imagining the future cloaked in possible failure, you will draw those experience toward you as well.

We utilize only 10% of our mental possibility while the other 90% lies at the subconscious level.  What would our lives be like if we learned the system to program the infinite capacity of our minds towards our goals and outcomes.

Here are some little known facts about our subconscious mind.

Our subconscious mind takes our language literally and personally.  Language is one of the principle ways we program this power within us.

Our subconscious mind is programmed by our conscious minds and is power without direction.

That which we dwell on, feel to be real and language accordingly are the principle programming agents that guide our life’s successes and our life failures.

We do have CHOICE.  We are in charge our minds therefore our results.  We have all the abilities and resources we require to succeed in life.

What we require to accomplish is the study of how to awaken and direct our subconscious minds towards our goals.

The subject on which you are dwelling, be it negative or positive, is the temple at which you pray.  Either the God of your negative thought forms or the God of your positive thought forms will answer.   Your present day reality and life circumstances are the answered mental focus of your past thoughts.  You have brought them into manifestation by what you consistently dwelt upon and language to be real.  Because of the delay of time you have forgotten what you have called into being and created for yourself.

The owners manual for the human mind lies within the Art and Science of Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Within this vast body of knowledge is a superlative model of communication which gives us an insight into how we construct our reality.

Our five senses are bombarded with over two million chunks of stimulus per second.  We each have filters which consist of many subconscious filters, such as time/space, language, memories, values and beliefs, attitudes, and meta programs.  These filters take the two million chunks of information being processed by our senses and Deletes Distorts and Generalizes the information down to seven pieces plus or minus two consciously.  The reminder of the information sinks into the subconscious.

This universal process establishes our individual perspectives as we continue to experience our present reality through the experiences of our past.

Many of our past experiences have been our greatest strengths and many have created our greatest blockages to success.  These blockages are created by the unresolved negative emotions, which we carry within us concerning our past.  The more unresolved pain, the more we Distort, Delete and Generalize our present experiences so our past keeps repeating itself in our internal world, which affects our now and our future.   These Distortions, Deletions and Generalizations are reflected in our thinking.  They play out in our deepest thoughts and imaginings.  They run how we mentally anticipate our future and therefore affect our relationships both professionally and personally.

The question remains how can I create optimal clarity from the universal process of Distorting reality through my past experiences?

The answer is within our word.

Language represents thought.

Thought represents how we filter and perceive reality.

Changing our language, changes our thinking which in turn changes our reality.
