A Process for You To Do

SAY IT TO THE UNIVERSE

So let’s just close your eyes for a moment.  Let’s just take three breaths together, deep inhale in, relaxed exhale out.  The waking 2/3 of your life on earth ever collaborates or bears witness to your subconscious impressions.  The actions and events of your day are simply effects.  They are not causes.  Free will is only freedom of choice.  Choose ye this day whom ye shall serve is your freedom to choose the kind of emotion you assume.  The expression of the emotion is the secret of your subconscious.  Your subconscious receives impressions only through the feelings of man and woman and in a way known only to itself gives these impressions form and expression.  The actions of man and woman are determined by their subconscious impressions.  His or her illusion of free will, his or her belief in freedom of action, is but ignorance of the causes which make them act.  They think themselves free because they have forgotten the link between themselves and the event.  Man and woman awake is under compulsion to express their subconscious impressions.  If in the past they unwisely impress themselves then let them begin to change their thoughts and their feelings for only as they do so will they change their world.  Do not waste one moment in regret for to think feelingly of the mistakes of your past is to reinfect yourself.  Let the dead bury their dead.  Turn from appearances now and assume the feeling that would be yours were you already the one you’ve wished to be.

I’m going to talk a little bit about the NLP model of communication yet once again because I firmly believe if people truly understood and embodied this model, the planet would instantaneously shift and change – if we understood this model.  The information comes into the five senses and the secret of whether we create heaven or hell is in our filters.  Our filters consist of our memories and if those memories are loaded with negative, unresolved emotions we will have a knee-jerk response to the events coming toward us in the now.  There is a process in NLP called a trans-derivational search.  That is a word that describes the process that happens in how we sort our reality.  The information comes in through the five senses.  Our mind automatically does this thing called an trans-derivational search.  Where our mind goes back into our files of experience to bring forward a strategy that this event reminds us of to assist us in interacting with this event.  So if we have a ton of emotions in the past that are linked to specific memories and an event comes toward us that is reminiscent of those memories or that reminds us of those memories, we will bring forward to the experience now a whole luggage full of unresolved negative emotions and over react.  How many of you have over reacted in the past?  How many of you have been over reacted to?  And you’re going, ‘how can this person possibly have this reaction to what I just did?  It was so benign.’   Why do you think that is?  Their trans-derivational search process, whatever you did or didn’t do, triggered off something from their past and when they perceived through the distortion of their unresolved experiences from their past, they projected onto you the unresolved events back there and overreacted toward you.

How many of you have said, ‘I think that you’re not in relationship with me.  You’re in relationship to your other three past lovers.’  Meaning you’re bringing so much negative emotion into this experience, it’s just not this experience.  It’s stuff back there.  How many of you have been in relationship with people when you feel like you’re their parent because of the unresolved wounds from the past?  So it seems logical to me that, if we are going to shift the filters, that we get to do something with the emotions of the past.  Is that true?  In order for us to sustain emotional states that are optimal for outcome, for imprinting the subconscious mind, it’s very challenging if we’ve got a ton of dialog going in here about how we are victims of the past.  If we’re carrying a lot of negative emotions around with us that are unresolved it will be very challenging to stay emotionally resourceful enough to be in the imagination of your outcome.  What we’re going to do this morning is work with a variety of different NLP processes.  They truly are tools for life.  Once you learn them they are literally keys for your mind.  You can take them and utilize them to the highest degree possible and run with them and change your life.  My highest outcome is that you take all the tools and really work them.

More to come tomorrow

    On the train to and from work this week, I’ve been reading your blog, starting with October until the latest. Having done one of your courses while you were in Perth, I could hear you speaking and I read them as such. So much kept jumping off the page at me, reminding me of how quickly I regress to past behaviours and beliefs. Your course and subsequent personal session set me on a new path but I keep sabotaging it – won’t detail the ways as they’re all so well known!! Your blog has done much to bring me back on track.

    Random key thoughts of yours that I am taking back on board:

    * Be unattached to what actually becomes produced.
    * Take the words want, need, try and I don’t know out of vocabulary … and put in I can, I have, I create …
    * Define outcome with specifics.
    * Profound gift to give self – self-acceptance
    * Think out of comfort zone and dream a bigger dream …
    * … go knocking on doors …
    * the greater your flexibility …
    * Fear is the mind killer.

    Oh, and:
    * This work takes discipline.

    Thanks Gary for staying in touch via this blog, for continuing to challenge, and for sharing your knowledge and self with us in Perth.

    For anyone in Perth reading this blog, check out Gary’s courses when he’s next here. I know that some NLP courses run in Perth have a poor reputation but Gary’s are different because Gary himself is different [in the best possible way!]. The fact he comes to Perth and runs courses with small groups says a lot about who he is. I didn’t start this ‘comment’ intending to advertise Gary but as one who has been sceptical, I want to share my enthusiasm!

    Thanks Gary – happy new year and all the best for 2009. Anne
